NBC-Peacock Annouce's the People's Choice Country Awards Nominees

Just Announced: The 2024 "People's Choice Country Awards" was announced this morning and voting has begun HERE.

This is the second year of the awards and it was expanded from 12 to 18 categories including the addition of Female, Male, Group/Duo, New Artist and Storyteller Song.

The categories are mostly filled with Nashville country artist nominees, but Texas has claimed some of the slots as well.

The Female Artist nominees include Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert. Both ladies are nominated for Female Song of 2024 also and Kacey is nominated for Storyteller Song and Album of 2024. The Male Artist nominees include Cody Johnson and we will claim Zach Bryan as well since he's from Oklahoma and released some of his first songs to Texas radio. Zach is also nominated for two Songs, Album, Male Song, Storyteller Song and Concert Tour of 2024. Johnson is nominated for Male Song, Album, and Storyteller Song of 2024. The Red Clay Strays are nominated for Group/Duo and Group/Duo Song of 2024. Koe Wetzel is nominated for New Artist and New Artist Song of 2024.

Thankfully King George is also nominated in a few categories including Concert Tour and Storyteller Song of 2024.
