On January 14 we celebrated our 5th New Year’s Reception in Houston. Ruth Emmerink, our Consul General from Miami was distinguished as our main speaker. We are proud to have celebrated the beginning of this year with different companies and partners.

Trade Mission to Texas
Do you want to explore the options for your company in Texas? Join us from April 20 to 24 on a trade mission with the focus on Life Sciences & Health and Energy Transition. The mission takes place with the presence of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sports, Bruno Bruins.
Workshop: The Secrets of doing Business in Texas
Doing business in a foreign country always is a challenge. What’s the best way to do business in Texas? The NBSO Texas is organizing a series of workshops together with SCORE and HCC, for Dutch entrepreneurs who are already doing business in Texas and for organizations who want to start their business in the region. The first workshop is on Feb 27, in Houston. 
Agricultural technology in Texas
NBSO Texas, in collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Fisheries (LNV) invite you to the presentation “Agricultural Technology in Texas: An Opportunity Analysis” on February 12th in the Netherlands. 
Mobile passport station coming to Houston
The consular team of the Dutch Consulate General in Miami will visit Houston on 3 and 4 March, 2020. You can apply for a Dutch passport or ID card on these days. Make sure you make an appointment for this session. More information in the following link.

Exploring the Energy Transition in Texas
In preparation of the trade mission in April, a delegation from the from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the United States came to Texas to explore the topic, energy transition.  
New Tulip field is open in San Antonio
Do you want to see Dutch tulips in Texas? Visit the new tulip field located in La Vernia, Texas, east of San Antonio, about an hour and-a-half drive from Austin. Entry into the field is $5 per person and kids under 12 for free.
Firefly Aerospace pacts with Netherlands Firm
Firefly Aerospace, a provider of economical and dependable launch vehicles, spacecraft and in-space services located in Cedar Park TX, announced a pact with a Netherlands-based company, ISILAUNCH.
