Exhibition Installation Volunteers Needed

Would you like to be involved with installation and de-installation of Textile Center exhibitions?

I'm looking for a few enthusiastic people who are willing to give of their time and expertise. Individuals with an artistic eye or experience in handling art work are encouraged to join my team of exhibition install & strike volunteers. Volunteers assisting with exhibition installation become part of a team responsible for prepping, painting, labeling, and cleaning. I need people that have experience and don't mind painting, spackling, sanding, using a tape measure and level, and cleaning.

Do you have a good eye for detail, balance and avoiding clutter? Art handling training is required. I and my lead exhibition volunteers; Linda Snouffer and Marjorie Fedyszyn will provide training and support. Work alongside professional curators and artists to help install works by leading and emerging artists from across the world. You can make Textile Center exhibitions your exhibitions.

Interested? Please email a brief description of your qualifications and experience to Kraig at krasmussen@textilecentermn.org
