As we start to turn our attention toward Thailand and our adventure together there are some things to consider to make for smooth, easy transitions and happy planning =)
Preparing to Enter Thailand:
Passports, Visa, Flights & Entry Requirements
Check Your Passport: If you already have a passport, please be sure it is up to date. If you do not have a passport, you must apply for this immediately. Please keep in mind that as a general rule, passports must be valid for six months after your departure date.
Passport application:
https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports/apply.html
*Please send us the name on your Passport, Passport Number and Expiration Date.
Purchase Your Airline Tickets: This adventure does not include the price for your airline travel to and from Chiang Mai, Thailand. For the best deal, we suggest registering for one or more airfare tracker alerts like:
Kayak- https://www.kayak.com/
Airfarewatchdog - https://www.airfarewatchdog.com/
Hopper - https://www.hopper.com/
Please be sure to arrive in Chiang Mai, Thailand on November 2. Due to the long flight (usually more than 24 hours) and passing over the International Date line in the Pacific Ocean, *you may have to depart 2-3 days earlier, like on October 30 or 31*. Please be sure to select your flight based on arrival date of November 2. And we will be personally picking you up from the airport in Chiang Mai.
Vaccination or PCR-test within 72 hours of flight
