ATPF AWARDED $10,000 GRANT FROM THE WALTER C. & BETTY J. ZABLE FOUNDATION


We are sending all our gratitude to the Walter C. & Betty J. Zable Foundation recently awarding a $10,000 grant to ATPF! This generous contribution will provide more than 20 free programs to thousands of families impacted by autism.

Calling all ATPF Families & Supporters! In the spirit of #GivingTuesday and our annual holiday Winter Wonderland, we are hosting a COVID-19 Pep Rally & Drive-Thru Celebration on Saturday, November 28th from 4-6 PM! Dress up in your favorite holiday attire, pack the family in the car, and drive by to wave hello to Santa Claus! Each child will collect a complimentary activity bag from Santa's Elves and our ATPF Team.

ATPF Virtual Reality Program: Engineering Workshop Series

ATPF is proud to partner with Ian Miller, Director of the Interactive Media Institute and University of San Diego's STEM Outreach Club to run a NEW virtual civil engineering themed workshop series for teens! Each week they'll take on a different building challenge, like earthquake proof structures, weight bearing bridges, etc. USD Students will be assembling supply kits for each workshop that will be distributed by the ATPF team or available for pick up at the ATPF Office.You won't want to miss this new teen workshop series!

ATPF Board Meeting Q3

Our ATPF Board held one of our quarterly board meetings tonight with new ATPF Board Member Michelle Rowley, financial updates from our CFO, Caitlyn McTaggart, and an 16 Candles Virtual Auction update from our Operations Manager, Rebecca Barron. We are so incredibly thankful for our board of 13 who have stepped up to the plate during this time of COVID so that we can continue to support our thousands of children and families living with autism during this pandemic.

 
 
ATPF Lunch & Learn Planning Meeting with Rich Horner September 2, 2020

We are excited to announce ATPF Father & Supporter Rich Horner will be our Lunch & Learn special guest on Wednesday, November 18th! We had an amazing meeting with Rich and ATPF Board Member Justin Nahama yesterday discussing Rich's topic: how ABA can be a powerful tool for a child with autism's progress, and sharing about his personal journey as a father to lead his son Brett toward success during shelter in place.

ATPF Celebrates Community Partnership with Tap Fever Studios

Our team was so grateful to celebrate tonight with Larisa Hall, Executive Director of Tap Fever Studios, ATPF Community Partner & Volunteer Director of the Adaptive Dance Program. Since July 2019, Larisa and her team have served 75 ATPF kids!!! This is an incredible milestone achieved in just one year. Thank you Larisa for being an exceptional community partner who leads with LOVE each day and is dedicated to serving our children and families with autism.

Facebook LIVE Painting Party for ATPF

Our ATPF Team had a blast at our first ever Facebook LIVE Painting Party with Joel Anderson, ATPF International Ambassador and Artist, and Artist Ruben Chato Hinojosa! Their puppy masterpiece will be auctioned off at our 16 Candles Virtual Auction in September! Special thank you to Gisele Bray of Gisele B Studios for hosting this event, and volunteer Glenn Lasker for being the catalyst behind this new community partnership with iShine at Gisele B Studios. We are excited to launch a new art program in October for our children and families...stay tuned!
