ANNUAL BOOK & ART SALE A HUGE SUCCESS!!
Thank you for a very successful book sale! We made over $4,000 for the library thus year selling books, lots of music CDs, DVDs, and other materials.

YOU so much- to all the volunteers who helped with the setup & breakdown of the sale, and to the volunteers helping with the actual sale. My wonderful trustees also did a phenomenal job. We couldn't have done it without ALL your help!

Some of the leftovers were donated to the community as "thank-you freebies" and then to a NH nonprofit organization, "Rolling Thunder" who will "repurpose" them.

The North Conway Public Library will be open Tuesday and Saturday mornings during the summer & fall!
The Library is changing its hours in response to a recent patron survey.
Beginning Saturday, June 18, the library will be open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Due to budget limitations, the library will, in exchange, be closed on Mondays.
Masters said this was a difficult to close the library on Mondays but a necessary decision based on funding in order to keep the total number of hours the same.
"In a perfect world with unlimited resources we'd be open mornings and weekends and Mondays, but since we are a privately funded library, money for us is especially tight. We needed to stay budget-neutral," she said. "We are sorry for any inconvenience the Monday closings may cause our patrons."
The change in hours will continue through the summer and early fall and will be re-evaluated by the staff and board of trustees in late October.
The Library is still looking for volunteers who could help on Saturdays and Tuesday mornings. If you are interested in helping out- either on a regular basis or intermittently, please contact Martha at
