Thank you so much to EVERYONE who came!!  There were so many of you!  You came from every corner of the state!  Several of you came early to help! You were moms, teachers, grandparents and taxpayers!  You were there to ask the senate to Stop Common Core!

And guess what!?  You are having an impact!  Though I would have liked to have written today, I was at the Capitol most all day - yet again - for meetings!  Thanks to your wonderful activism, our voices are being heard!  As I mentioned after the debacle in the senate with SB1746, Governor Ford consented to hear HB3399 in his Committee (the Senate Education Committee) after it cleared the House.  

Currently, there are Senators working hard to make sure HB3399 can pass the Education Committee, the floor of the Senate and be signed by Governor Fallin! This is very exciting!  Thank you, thank you for all your efforts and for taking the time out of your schedule to come to the Capitol Monday!

We are hearing the bill might make it to the Senate Education Committee as early as Monday, so please stay tuned!  We will absolutely let you know when we know!
