Ribbon Cutting Recap
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held last week at GTR ProtoPlus in the Myles Standish Industrial Park in Taunton. Tours were given of the facility and Senator Pacheco, Mayor O'Connell and City Councilor Phil Duarte were among those in attendance.
A grand opening & ribbon cutting ceremony took place in Raynham last week at Relaxation Works Spa in Taunton for their new Boutique. Tours of the spa were given upon request. Raynham Selectmen Joe Pacheco and Pat Riley and many Chamber Board members joined in the celebration.

Discipline For Unvaccinated Federal Employees Can Start On November 9th

Agencies might approach disciplinary action against employees who fail to comply with the Biden administration’s recent federal vaccine mandate. Because employees aren’t considered fully vaccinated until two weeks after receiving a single-shot series or the second dose of a two-shot series, they must get the vaccine by Nov. 8 to comply with the federal mandate. What You Need to Know About The Federal Contracting Mandates

New guidance from the Biden Administration requires federal contractors and subcontractors to have their employees fully vaccinated by December 8 to obtain new business with the federal government or maintain existing contracts. The new order provides a detailed roadmap for contractors to comply with a previously announced executive order requiring full vaccinations for both federal employees and contractors soliciting federal business.
