NUTLEY FAMILY SERVICE BUREAU - Thank For For Contributing To The Thanksgiving Initiative

THANK YOU FOR YOUR THANKSGIVING INITIATIVE SUPPORT!

The Nutley Family Service Bureau’s Thanksgiving Initiative 2021 provided a bountiful holiday meal for our Food Pantry households. NFSB is grateful to all the individual, business, municipal, civic and religious community partners who generously contributed. Holiday meal baskets were distributed to 203 local households, of which 74 were delivered to homebound residents. Individual contributors signed up to supply traditional trimmings.

THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT ShopRite delivered turkeys from the customer points program and Community Food Bank of NJ provided turkeys and rosters, Cheer Me Up Foundation and Nutley Belleville Kiwanis donated gift cards. Nutley Key Club helped hand out gift cards and baskets, they also brought food from a school food drive. Local elementary schools held a pie drive.

PITCHING IN TO PACK AND DISTRIBUTE Quality Technology Services (QTS) donated the laundry baskets and volunteered to assemble the baskets and deliver to the senior buildings. Spencer Bank volunteered to assemble baskets. Our Pantry Volunteer crew made it happen!

SUPPORT FROM OUR SCOUTS! Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts made cards and decorated bags to add the the senior baskets.
