Our Yishuv Susya of 100 miluimniks just buried our third father yesterday. Our families are brokenhearted and scared. The mothers cannot handle the daily pressure and emotional distress, We are not functioning...and then you called today to offer assistance. It is so heartwarming. Can you please send the mothers pizza or prepared supper once a week?

I wanted to thank you and your community with all my heart for your incredible initiative to cook for mine and several other families for shabbat over the past few weeks.
Not only was the food delicious and nutritious, and so appreciated, the incredibly kind and heartfelt letters I received with the food literally brought me to tears. I am so grateful for you and your community thinking about us and taking action to help us in a time that is so difficult for so many.

Hi Miriam, my name is B.D., and I live in Tzur Hadassah, and I just received a meal through Miri from your community. I wanted to thank you for the food, for the treats, for the gift for me! … It’s clearly all done with so much love and support. My husband was supposed to come home yesterday and stay for Shabbat but ended up staying on base when someone else was injured and arriving this afternoon. So yesterday when Miri offered me a meal, it really was a lifesaver to not think about cooking last night or today. We really appreciate it! Please tell all the lovely ladies. Shabbat shalom!

I’m a Miluim mom who received two pizzas this and last week in Modiin. I just wanted to reach out and thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. It’s such a helpful gesture, that really takes a load off during the week. It’s helpful both practically, and honestly also emotionally, just knowing that I have the support of the rest of Am Yisrael, while my husband is away.
I have 3 little kids (including a 5 week old newborn!) so this meal was super super helpful. Anyways, thank you so much again! Tizku Lemitzvot!

כמו כל עמ”י עוברים עלינו ימים קשים של דאגה לעמ”י כולו וליקירינו שנלחמים בחזית בפרט.
בתקופה זו שבעלי במילואים והילדים ואני בבית, הארוחות שקהילתכם היקרה שולחת אלינו מידי שבת מחממות כל כך את הלב ומקלות עלינו מאוד את הכנת השבת ווההתארגנות אליה.
מעבר לכך, התחושה שכל עמ”י שותף איתנו מחממת את הלב ומחזקת.

קיבלנו משלוח ממכם בשבוע שעבר וזה היה לי כיף לקבל את כל הדברים הטעימים וההפתעות.
אמא שלי סיפרה לי שיש אנשים שלא מכירים אותנו ובכל זאת שולחים לנו דברים טובים וזה בגלל שכל עם ישראל הם אחים ועוזרים אחד לשני.
היא אמרה שאתם שמעתם שאבא שלנו בצבא משמחת תורה ורציתם לשמח אותנו. אז באמת אנחנו שמחנו ואכלנו את כל הממתקים ואמא הייתה שמחה שלא היה לה קשה להכין אוכל.
אבא שלי כבר חודש בעזה ולא ראינו אותו אבל דיברנו בטלפון והוא אמר שהם מנצחים ושהשם שומר עליהם.
