Please join us in giving a big, warm THANK YOU to Michael Zinobile, our Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors!

Mike served as Chair during our 2024–2025 year, bringing steady leadership, strategic guidance, and unwavering commitment to the Chamber. He’s now wrapping up his second full term on the Board, and we’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and dedication he’s poured into our organization — especially over the past year.

Thank you, Mike, for your exceptional service and for helping move the Chamber forward!

Today, we extend our deepest thanks to Dee Dee Brown for her incredible service on our Board of Directors!

Dee Dee recently completed two full consecutive terms as Treasurer, and has generously served on our Board in years past as well. Her unwavering dedication, steady leadership, financial expertise, and commitment to our mission have made a lasting impact.

We are truly grateful for her many years of service, guidance, and support. Thank you, Dee Dee, for being such a vital part of our organization!

Please join us in thanking Denny Cisney, Jr. for his dedicated service on our Board of Directors!

Denny recently completed two consecutive terms, and we’re incredibly grateful for the leadership, insight, and commitment he’s brought to the Chamber throughout the years. His contributions have made a lasting impact, and we truly appreciate his support and service to our mission.

Wednesday morning, we had the incredible opportunity to team up with WJAC-TV News for a powerful seminar on Boosting Your Brand!

From cutting through the noise in today’s media landscape to leveraging data and technology for smarter marketing, attendees walked away with actionable tips and fresh insights from local industry experts. We also explored how to effectively engage with news outlets for press coverage and community storytelling.

Huge thanks to the WJAC team for sharing their time, talent, and expertise — and for helping our businesses grow stronger and smarter!

Last night’s Business After Hours with Hacktivist Golf was a hole-in-one!

We had a fantastic time exploring their impressive space, enjoying some interactive golf fun, and hearing all about the exciting developments coming soon. Guests also got to network, connect, and enjoy some delicious appetizers in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

Huge thanks to Hacktivist Golf for hosting an unforgettable evening — we can't wait to see what’s next!

The Chamber has been working hard behind the scenes on the ongoing campground closures at Raystown Lake—especially pushing to lift the federal hiring freeze. While that freeze has now been removed, we’ve remained in close contact with legislators to understand why the hiring process is still stalled.

We’ve also been gathering information from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to better understand the challenges they’re facing and how progress can be made. Now, we’re shifting our focus to you—our local businesses.

We know these closures are having a real impact, and we want to hear from you:

How can the Chamber best support your business during this time?

Please reach out directly to MacKenzie at mhuntsman@huntingdonchamber.com. Your feedback will help guide our next steps as we continue advocating for solutions and transparency.

Did you know........

Small businesses represent the largest segment by number of most local chamber membership rolls. Results in the research study by The Shapiro Group, Inc. and Market Street indicate the impact of local chamber membership on small businesses is very powerful. If a consumer knows a small business is a member of its local chamber, the business enjoys a 44 percent increase in its consumer favorability rating, a 51 percent increase in consumer awareness, a 57 percent increase in its local reputation and a 63 percent increase in the likelihood that consumers will patronize the business in the future.

Research indicates that chamber membership stimulates business-to-business commerce in the local community. Other businesses in town are more likely to do business with you and your company if you are a member of the local chamber. Because a major part of a small business typically comes from business-to-business services, it is essential to maintain a positive standing within the local business community.
