Use techniques learned in previous classes to assemble a holiday decoration. Participants can take their project home for finishing at class end.

CVHFH ReStore Celebrates 18 Years

Join us in celebrating the ReStore's 18th anniversary. By shopping, donating, and volunteering at the ReStore, you are part of a worldwide movement dedicated to ensuring everyone has a decent place to live.

Chris has been a member of the CVHFH board of directors since 2020. In addition, he is part of the Habitat for Humanity committee through the Cedar Rapids Area Association of REALTORS. Highlights during his time with Habitat have included being part of builds, learning new skills, and getting to see the joy partner families have upon completing their sweat equity and becoming homeowners.

World Habitat Day Was October 3rd

In 1985, the United Nations designated the first Monday of October every year as World Habitat Day. The idea is to reflect on the state of our towns and cities and the basic right of all to adequate shelter.
