Annual Meeting “Thriving Together” was a great success!
We did it! Our Annual Meeting was held on Thursday, September 26th at the beautiful Saguaro Buttes Wedding and Events Center. Nearly 70 local business leaders, community members, and officials came together under the theme "Thriving Together." The event highlighted the achievements of the Chamber and its members over the past year, while celebrating the shared commitment to fostering a prosperous and connected Vail community.
During the meeting, several prestigious awards were presented, honoring individuals and businesses which have made significant contributions to the Greater Vail Area:

Citizen of the Year was awarded to Karen Foley, General Manager of Galaxy Theatres Tucson. Karen’s leadership and community engagement were recognized for enhancing local entertainment experiences and supporting various civic initiatives.

Large Business of the Year was awarded to Tucson Medical Center Rincon, represented by Administrator Heather Beck, for their outstanding contributions to healthcare in the Vail community, consistently offering quality care and engaging with the local population.

Small Business of the Year was awarded to the Todd Swanson American Family Insurance Agency for his dedicated customer service, commitment to community, and support for local businesses.

Vail Game Changer Award was presented to Rincon Wireless, owned by Jessica and Mark Breen, for their innovative solutions in providing critical connectivity services to the community, making them a key player in Vail's growth and development.

The Chairman’s Award was given to Priscilla Storm, honoring her exceptional leadership and lasting contributions to the Chamber and the broader community.
The Annual Meeting also marked a moment of gratitude to Chris Evans, Chair of the Board and a representative of HSL Properties, for his exemplary leadership over the past year. Chris was recognized for guiding the Chamber through an important time of growth and transition, ensuring the Chamber's continued success and influence.
