April is Cancer Control Month
April is dedicated to raising awareness for cancer prevention and treatment. Deaths from cancer have declined, due in part to greater education and awareness about how to prevent certain types of cancer, recognize the signs and symptoms of cancer, and how to seek proper treatment.

CARES, our Cancer Awareness Resources and Support program (PDF), helps members understand their condition. It also helps them to take an active role in managing their treatment.*

QCARE health and wellness programs offer tools to help you stay healthy or manage a chronic illness. This means improved health and lower health care costs.
