Thank You For

Joining Us In Oswego!

On behalf of the board and staff of the New York State Tourism Industry Association, we would like to thank the 212 registered attendees who joined us in Oswego, New York at the 2023 NYS Tourism Conference, for coming together once again to share stories, insights, and excitement for the future of New York State's tourism. With your support and participation, this was the best-attended Conference in NYSTIA history!

We also extend our gratitude to our partners, presenters, the team at our host hotels the Best Western Plus Oswego Event & Conference Center and the Clarion Hotel & Suites Riverfront (shout out to George Broadwell and Michele Donegan!), and our market host Oswego County Tourism (thank you, Phil Church, David Turner, Daniel Breitweg, Lisa Gray & team!) for their hospitality and for organizing the fantastic 'Experience Oswego' offsite and welcome reception on Tuesday afternoon. Thank you to our presenting partners Rove and Mower for sharing their expertise during our Wednesday morning workshops, and for their generous support of NYSTIA programming. Ross Levi and his colleagues at I LOVE NY/ESD once again provided us with a terrific overview of 'the state of the industry' and the supportive work being done to assist us in growth and recovery.

A special shout-out to Susan Green and her team at Paperkite!

Susan's inspiration to deploy a video crew and studio and work with conference attendees to create a mini-documentary on careers in tourism and hospitality was the highlight of Thursday evening's banquet!

Thank you, one and all,

- Bob Provost
