Over the past year, we’ve come together, not as individuals, but as a collective force – a force that believes in the power of health to transform lives. It isn’t always easy, and the outcomes don’t always happen overnight, but together, we are making a difference, one person, one family, one piece at a time.

This award recognizes an individual and/or community organization that goes above and beyond to serve their community, and whose values align wholeheartedly with the mission of Healthy RC.

These two Community Champions commitment to service has left an indelible mark on the city. A family united in service, brother and sister Ofelia and Martin, have dedicated countless hours to improve the lives of Rancho Cucamonga residents.

Valeria has served as a committed Youth Leader since 2021, demonstrating passionate leadership by amplifying the voices of teens in council meetings and regional conferences. Additionally, she plays a crucial role in championing the annual Teen Summit, where she empowers high school students to develop resiliency skills.

Chaffey College has created a pathway to success, particularly for veterans navigating the challenges of transitioning into civilian life. We commend their efforts in spearheading the Rally Point mental health workshops at the Veteran Resource Center, providing crucial support for students in need.

The Compassionate Community Award goes to an individual that embodies the culture of kindness through their work in the community.

Guadalupe exceeds expectations in aiding community members particularly those facing significant challenges. She organizes clothing drives for the homeless and serves as a vital link to the Spanish-speaking community by sharing numerous resources with her neighborhood.

Youth Leaders

Take Action, Make a Difference. Our Youth Leaders program provides middle school and high school aged kids the leadership development skills to advocate for policies and programs that positively impact our community.
