I had a client recently say: "I love working with you because you're just... yourself." That might be the greatest compliment I've ever received.
Anyone can book a flight online. What I do is show up as a real person—with opinions, quirks, and a willingness to make ridiculous faces in photos if it means we're having fun planning your next adventure. I'm grateful you've given me permission to be authentically, unapologetically myself in this work.
The Case for Quirky
I'm the travel advisor who tells you when a destination is overhyped. Who always tries to consult local experts to get you the real story. And yes, I'll make faces at the camera that make my mother wince—because planning travel should feel like plotting an adventure with a friend who actually knows what they're doing, not a transaction.
That's the value I bring: honesty, fun, and someone who gets it.
What Actually Matters
Online booking platforms are convenient. But they can't know you. They can't remember that you're not a "resort person" but you love a charming hotel with a great bar scene. They can't sense that solo travel makes you nervous, or tell you whether that fondue with Alpacas is actually happening or just Instagram fantasy. I can do all of that.
My real value isn't secret deals—it's being someone you trust enough to tell the truth to. About what you actually want. What scares you. What would make your trip yours, not just a generic vacation. And that only works if I'm real with you too.
The Permission Slip
Thank you for giving me permission to be human in a space that often rewards perfection.
Thank you for laughing at my terrible airport security jokes. For not judging when I admit I've never been somewhere and will do my research anyway. For letting me genuinely geek out over finding you that perfect restaurant or hotel view.
Thank you for understanding that the best part of travel planning is the planning itself—the dreaming, the researching, the "what if we did this instead?" conversations where I'm probably making some expressive face.
Most of all: thank you for knowing that a real human on your side—with opinions, quirks, humor, and genuine investment in your trip—is worth infinitely more than an algorithm.
Let's Plan Something
If you've been thinking about your next adventure, I'd love to help you plan it. And I promise you'll get all of me in the process: the expertise, the enthusiasm, the willingness to admit when I don't know something, and yes, the occasional ridiculous photo moment.
Because that's what travel should be—real, fun, and authentically yours.
Reach out whenever you're ready. Let's make some travel magic happen.
