North View:
A New Chapter Begins

Residents began moving into North View in September, marking an exciting milestone for PBH’s new 36-unit permanent supportive housing community in Port Angeles.
For people who have experienced housing instability while managing behavioral health challenges, a permanent home can provide the foundation for greater stability. It offers a place to rest, establish routines, and focus on personal goals while remaining connected to support.
North View expands PBH’s commitment to pairing stable housing with access to behavioral health services. We are grateful to the partners, supporters, and community members who helped bring this project to life.
As residents settle into their new homes, we celebrate the possibilities that begin with having a place to call your own.

Help Create More Space for
Youth and Families

PBH served 893 young people in its most recent fiscal year, reflecting the growing need for youth behavioral health care in our community.
Our planned Youth and Family Services Center will expand clinical space for children, adolescents, and families. Plans include 22 clinical offices, group rooms, and dedicated spaces for play, sensory, and art therapy, along with areas that support family participation and community connection.
This investment will help PBH respond to growing needs and create welcoming spaces designed for youth behavioral health services.
Community support is essential to moving this project forward. A gift to the Youth and Family Services Center is an investment in local children and the families who care for them.

CCBHC Corner:
More Ways to Access Care in 2027

Peninsula Behavioral Health is preparing to begin participation in Washington’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Medicaid Demonstration on January 1, 2027.
As part of this transition, PBH plans to offer Saturday appointments and extended weekday hours in 2027, creating more opportunities to access care around work, school, and family responsibilities. We will share specific schedules, locations, and appointment information as details are finalized.
The CCBHC model will also strengthen coordination among mental health care, substance use disorder treatment, primary care, and other supports. For individuals and families, this means helping connect the services they need and supporting their care across programs.
These efforts build on PBH’s commitment to making compassionate, comprehensive behavioral health care more accessible throughout Clallam County. Watch for more updates as we prepare for January and the year ahead.

October 10th is World Mental Health Day and a reminder that mental health deserves our attention throughout the year.
Anxiety, depression, grief, and everyday stress can affect how we feel, connect with others, and manage daily life. You do not have to wait until things feel overwhelming to reach out for support.
PBH offers behavioral health services for children, adults, and families. Whether you are seeking help for yourself or someone you love, our team can help you take the first step.
This month, make time to check in with yourself and the people around you. A simple “How are you doing?” can open the door to a meaningful conversation.
