DECEMBER 2017
An exciting year for LifeCare Alliance!

In 2017, LifeCare Alliance helped more than 16,000 central Ohio clients stay safe, independent, and living in their own homes — where they want to be!

We welcomed thousands of volunteers who prepared meals, stocked shelves, and drove hundreds of thousands of miles to ensure that their homebound neighbors were fed and had a daily wellness check.

This year, the Central Ohio Diabetes Association merged to help address the growing prevalence of diabetes. It is our hope that through this merger, we will slow and eventually prevent the need for our services.

We received the generous support of donors large and small, providing an essential lifeline to seniors and medically challenged people in our community. In fact, our anonymous donor has graciously increased this year's “Challenge Gift” to help feed those in need. Just mark your donation of new or increased funds “Challenge Gift.”

We couldn't have done this without you. Thank you for helping us Nourish the Human Spirit . Please consider making a donation this holiday season.

The 2017 Subaru Share the Love (R) Event  is here!
Over the past nine years, Subaru of America has donated over $12 million to Meals on Wheels America — that’s the equivalent of more than 1.7 million meals to seniors across the country!

In Central Ohio, LifeCare Alliance provides nearly 5,000 meals a day - helping to keep seniors in their own homes! We are grateful to all of our partners who make this possible, including Meals on Wheels America and Subaru of America.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
From Nov. 16, 2017, through Jan. 2, 2018, Subaru will donate $250 for each new Subaru leased or purchased to the customer’s choice of participating charities. Meals on Wheels America is one of four national participating charities, and has been since the inception of the event. And through this campaign, as a Member of Meals on Wheels America, LifeCare Alliance will receive a share of the revenue earned in Ohio.

Spotlight: Jay & Kathy Worly
We want to thank Jay and Kathy Worly, owners of Worly Plumbing Supply Inc., who are longtime supporters of our Columbus Cancer Clinic. Each year, their company recognizes an employee with the Award of Excellence, and the Worlys make a donation to the Clinic in the award recipient's name. A plaque bearing their names proudly hangs in the Clinic. We are grateful for dedicated supporters like the Worlys!
