Folklorama wraps up another successful Festival

Folklorama’s milestone 55th Festival featured an incredible lineup of 45 unique Pavilions. Over two weeks, 362,397 visitors came together to experience 972 shows and late-night parties and 195 group tours were also hosted. None of it would have been possible without the dedication of our incredible volunteers, who contributed 40,264 volunteer shifts to make the Festival happen.

Folklorama's 56th Festival will run August 1-14, 2027.

Safeway and Sobeys Support Folklorama’s Celebration of Culture

For many years, Safeway and Sobeys have supported Folklorama and its mission to bring people together through cultural celebration, education and shared experiences.

For Fatima Borba, Specialist Store Communications for Safeway and Sobeys, the partnership reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to the communities they serve.

Folklorama acknowledges that we create, connect, and celebrate on Treaty 1 territory. We honour the unceded lands and waters of the Anishinaabe (Ojibway), Ininew (Cree), and Dakota peoples, in the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. We recognize and honour that our drinking water comes from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation on Treaty 3 Territory.

We are committed to building relationships and sharing knowledge, and cultural understanding of all communities. Understanding our diversity fosters pride and mutual respect.
