While we get to be the visible face of the event on race day, there are numerous people that help make the Landmine Classic an epic event. So many volunteers work year round in partnership with DCR to maintain and improve Wompatuck and it is always fun to showcase the park during the Landmine Classic. Despite an extremely wet summer we lucked out with only enough mud to remind us that this was classic New England mountain biking."

A note about DIYLandmine and scoring of segments:

We keep leaderboards of the "official" course segments for each CAT. We weight the segments - you get extra points for placing 1, 2, or 3 etc. for a segment but you also get a point if you didn't ride a given segment "clean" in the eyes of Strava. Points are tallied and virtual podium winners for each segment plus overall KOM/QOM points leader at end of September.
