Common Necklace Lengths
Choose your necklace according to your clothing neckline!

Collar (12"-13") - This necklace fits snuggly around the neck and is best for v-necks, boatnecks, or off the shoulder styles.  Very Victorian!
Choker (14"-16") - This one is classic and versatile, complementing just about any neckline.  It can be worn with casual or fancy dress.  Good length for a child!
You must see the new chokers with various combinations of sterling silver, mother of pearl, amethyst, quartz, and turquoise, N2350-N2354!

Princess (17"-19") - This is the perfect length to add a pendant.  Goes best with crew or high necklines, but can really accentuate a plunging neckline too!
Check out the new honey-colored glass pendant on an etched shell, sterling silver and brass necklace, N2230!

Matinee (20"-24") - Perfect casual or business length!

Opera (28"-34") - When worn as a single strand, this necklace length is best with high or crew necklines.  It can also be doubled to make a choker.
See the gorgeous new opera length Silpada necklace with sterling silver, quartzite, obsidian, brass, agate, magnesite, and etched shell, N2228!

Rope (over 45") - Very sexy length!  The pearl rope was a favorite of CoCo Chanel!  It can be doubled to form layers at various lengths and may also be wrapped around the wrist to form a bracelet!
See the new rope legth necklace by Silpada, with sterling silver, amethyst, pearl, etched glass, brass, and shell, N2246!

Lariat (at least 48") - This necklace is similar to the rope, but the ends are left unattached for knotting or wrapping around the neck.
Remember the pearl and sterling silver lariat introduced last year?  N2102 is still gorgeous!

Party Theme Ideas:

Haute August Nights - have a fashionably elegant summer evening with Silpada jewelry!
