Planning forward as we reflect on the 9th Annual Turning the Tide Gala | | |
On September 23, we once again brought Newfoundland and Labrador’s marine industry together to celebrate the people, organizations and ideas shaping its future.
Our 9th. year was a powerful reminder of the extraordinary talent, leadership and innovation across our industry. To our award recipients, sponsors, guests and supporters, thank you for making Turning the Tide possible.
Now, we want your help shaping what comes next. 2027 marks our 10th Anniversary, and we want it to be exceptional. Please take a few minutes to complete our post-event survey and share your thoughts on the future of Turning the Tide. As our thank-you, everyone who completes the survey will be entered to win a collector’s-edition, hand-painted Ann Harvey lithograph by acclaimed artist John MacDonald, valued at $1,500.

Turning the Tide celebrates the people shaping our marine industry today. Home from the Sea, our Charity of Choice, honours those whose lives, work and sacrifice helped build the marine heritage that came before them.
Through its memorial, exhibits and storytelling, Home from the Sea preserves that legacy for future generations, making it a natural and meaningful partner for Turning the Tide.

The Value of Partnership Extends Beyond Gala Night
While the Gala may happen on one extraordinary evening, the value of a Turning the Tide partnership extends throughout the year. Over the next 12 months, our digital channels, storytelling and communications will continue to showcase our award recipients, and recognize the sponsors and partners whose investment makes Turning the Tide possible.
For our sponsors, that means sustained visibility alongside the people, organizations and achievements shaping Newfoundland and Labrador’s marine industries, while demonstrating a meaningful commitment to industry leadership, community and celebration.
One night. Twelve months of visibility, connection and impact.
