For the last ten years I have had the opportunity to serve the citizens of Enid as your Economic Development Director. I have enjoyed every second of it. But now, as I transition to a new role with Governor Kevin Stitt and Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Sean Kouplen, I wanted to share with you a special thank you.
Thank you for supporting me and my family and allowing us to claim Enid as our home. That will continue.
Thank you for your willingness to try new things and embrace growth. Not all communities do.
Thank you for your focus on unity. To me, that is the greatest strength Enid has today.
Even though these last ten years have been strong economic growth years for our community, I have no doubt that Enid’s best days are ahead.
You have a more diversified economy than ever before.
You have plans in place for more water resources than ever before.
And you have leadership in place in Enid that are some of the best I have ever seen in our state.
Even though leaving is hard, it makes it a whole lot easier knowing that Enid’s future is in great hands.
I am honored to have been allowed to serve you.
