Donate by January 31st to Help us Reach our Goal

We are so grateful for our generous donors! To date, you have contributed $18,000 to the Innovation Fund.

There’s still time to lend your support by making a donation by January 31st! Your gift enables us to respond quickly when people and parks need it most. Because of your generosity, we can say “yes” when:

·       A local child needs a safe and engaging place to land after school in the Beyond the Bell Program.

·       A staff member has a great idea for a program or project that will serve an immediate need.

·       A middle school student wants to play organized sports.

·       A playground or gathering space needs a small, but urgent, repair so neighbors can keep playing.

Wright Park Reopening Celebration

The renovation of the Wright Park Playground was made possible by the Tacoma Parks Foundation through the Zina Linnik Endowment, created in response to a profound community tragedy and rooted in a shared commitment to safety, connection, and healing. Following the loss of Zina Linnik, Tacoma came together with a vision that parks could be places of hope - where children feel safe, families gather, and communities grow stronger. Today’s improvements honor that legacy by reinvesting in Wright Park as a welcoming, vibrant space for play and togetherness, ensuring that Zina’s memory continues to shape a healthier, more connected Tacoma for generations to come.
