Welcome BeeHive!
If you get a chance, stop over and say HI to Jin, Lisa and the staff at BeeHive! They have done an amazing job of creating a beautiful home for their memory care residents. We are so lucky to have this housing option for our families, right here in Lakeville.

Reality Store Event for Students - October 22
The Dakota County Community Transition Interagency Committee (CTIC) is seeking employers interested in taking part in the Eighth Annual “Reality Store” event. The Reality Store is similar to a real life version of The Game of Life. Students will work with a monthly budget and pick their living expenses, in order to learn how to live independently.

This year, CTIC is asking employers to attend to talk to with students about the industry they represent and answer any questions. This will give students a chance to explore possible options for future employment, as well as allow employers to tap into future employees for the workforce. If you have current openings with your company, you are welcome to do some recruiting with the students as well.

Students targeted to attend the event will have an Individual Education Plan and range from 11 th grade to Transition Plus (average ages are 17-20). Approximately 200 students will attend along with 25-30 school staff and 30+ volunteers. Staff and volunteers are also looking for resources to bring back to their schools.
