NEXUS Honors at Triple Play:

NEXUS members gathered on December 10th for the 2025 NEXUS Honors at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel during Triple Play.

In addition to the drinks and food served, attendees cheered as we recognized this year's NEXUS Icon Award Winners: Robert Kinniebrew of Kinniebrew Associates, Inc.; David Rickel of BHHS Fox and Roach, REALTORS®; and David Wyrsch Jr. of Van Dyk Group, Inc.

was honored as the 2025 NEXUS REALTOR® of the Year, and Carol DeGrace of First Citizens Community Bank was honored as the 2025 NEXUS Affiliate of the Year.

The festive event culminated with the installation of the 2025 NEXUS Board of Directors, for which Robert Hanson will serve as 2026 President.

Now Live: Bright Policy Updates Add Flexibility & Clarity

As the real estate industry evolves, so do the needs of the professionals who power it. In 2024, the NAR settlement caused a seismic shift in the industry. In the wake of the changes that followed, Bright has listened to user feedback and explored additional updates based on agents' evolving needs.

On December 10th, Bright’s new policy updates went live. Updates include new controls over listing photos, a requirement to report final seller concession amounts at closing, and a stricter requirement that “Office Exclusive” listings must now have the official form uploaded directly into the system. Altogether, the changes are meant to improve transparency, data consistency, and control over how properties are marketed.
