Saturday was another wonderful celebration of community! Residents were excited to visit our crowded Exhibit Hall, meet the Young Entrepreneurs, listen and ask questions of local leaders and watch the virtual tour of all that is happening in the Mount Vernon District from Huntington to Lorton. The true highlight of the event was our newest addition - the Taste of Mount Vernon! We were thrilled to have so many of you stay to sample foods from our local restaurants. A huge thank you to the restaurants that participated: 2 Jefes Tex-Mex, La Brasa Chicken, Dominos, Momo & Poke Hawaiian Food, Dishes of India, Della J's Delectables, America's Best Wings, Skrimp Shack, Capital Chicken, Moe's Southwest Grill and McAlister's Deli. And, thank you to our amazing volunteer, Shirley Short, for organizing the Taste of Mount Vernon!
