Cool Congregation Committee monthly meeting--virtual

Cool Congregations meets monthly and works with houses of worship and faith communities on energy efficiency, solar, and outreach. A number of audits are in process by the team and there is interest in solar. The Inflation Reduction Act appropriated funds for direct pay backs on solar for non-profits and Houses of Worship. This will be an important work in 2023. Let us know if you want help, advice, guidance or information. Anyone is always welcome to be part of the team info@nm-ipl.org.

EPA Methane Regulation Rules Hearings

A number of faith folks will be testifying in support of national rules. If you would like to make a comment and have not signed up already contact joan@nm-ipl.org by January 3. Written comments will also be taken for these rules and BLM methane regulations throughout January, with more information coming and a faith leader letter to sign.
