The 2025 1492/1619 American Aftermaths Grant is now open for submissions. This grant supports working photographers worldwide who explore the legacies of colonialism and enslavement in the U.S. and their contemporary impact. Four finalists will also receive $5,000 each. Applicants must submit a two-page proposal, a portfolio of up to 30 images, a bio, and a signed application form. Full-time students are not eligible.
