You have continued to make a huge difference in the lives of those in our surrounding community! Let’s keep up the momentum during this Summer of Service.

Thanks and Praise! Your CAC Senior Food Collection raised 1,215 pounds of food and 20 of you collected and organized the food so it could be delivered to 35 households efficiently. And you wrote notes of affirmation for each family as the church.

You can still be a part of our partnership with Metropolitan UMC as we host another Food Distribution for the Montgomery County Food Bank on June 12 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at East Side Church of Christ! If you would like to participate, please email me at jstilwell@fmconroe.org. We still need a few more volunteers.

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center asked us to move our blood drive up to Sunday June 20 from 8:30 a.m. to noon because the need for blood is so pronounced right now. If you have ever given blood, you know it is a simple process that could save up to three lives. If you register with your cell number, the blood bank will text you when your blood is used. I am always in awe of knowing God has given me a way to share something so immediately important to another person. You can register online to give by clicking here. This time the blood center is bringing its coach which will be parked in the parking lot.

You can still find out more about Stephen Ministry at their information meeting in the Chapel this Sunday, June 13 at 10:00 a.m.
