Our juried vintage and artisan/maker market was launched in June2013 and returns outdoors in the summer and early fall every Sunday. The Flea has hosted over 2500 local vintage vendors and some of the area’s most creative artists, artisans and makers, food trucks and carts and live musicians.

- Anytime – Giant Trolls have arrived at Ninigret Park in Charlestown, RI - Danish artist Thomas Dambo brought his trolls, which are made of recycled wood, to Ninigret Park in Charlestown. There are currently more than 100 trolls all over the world, including in the United States, Denmark, China, France, South Korea, Australia, Chile and Ireland. Dambo started building trolls more than a decade ago and has turned thousands of pounds of what other people might think is garbage into more than 100 trolls. “It takes around 1,000 hours to finish one of these sculptures, and that’s including taking apart two or three hundred recycled pallets, bringing all the nails out, doing all the cutting, and collecting sticks for the hair,” he said. The first two trolls, Eric Rock and Greater Granite, will be on display at Ninigret Park in Charlestown, with Dambo saying more may be joining them soon.
