Heart - Your support fosters employment success at Driskill's

As we wrap up National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), we congratulate the folks we serve who are thriving in their jobs! We are incredibly proud of the hard work it takes to get and maintain competitive, integrated employment.

In case you missed it, Opportunity Partners was in the news! KARE 11's Heidi Wigdahl visited Driskill's Downtown Market in Hopkins to chat with some of their employees. See how your support helps people succeed!
Join us for Give to the Max Day!

As part of our community, you help us advance the quality of life for people with disabilities. Each year, supporters come together for Give to the Max Day, an exciting day of charitable online giving in Minnesota. We hope you will join us this year on November 15. If you are unable to participate that day, you can start scheduling your gift tomorrow, November 1!
Impact - My Three P's of Philanthropy

"I started my career working in rehab, met my husband and discovered my favorite nonprofit all at the same time.  It's been a love affair with Dennis and Opportunity Partners ever since - 46 years and going strong!" Board of Directors member Cyndi Lesher shares why her involvement with Opportunity Partners is personal, a privilege and a priority. Read more on the blog
Partnership - a history with Graco

For 15 years, Opportunity Partners has been a proud packaging partner of Graco, one of the world's premier manufacturers of fluid-handling equipment and systems. Last year alone Opportunity Partners completed 436 orders made up of 470,400 different pieces for Graco's Contractor Division.

Graco and the Graco Foundation have also provided generous philanthropic support to Opportunity Partners for many years, helping with capital projects and program improvements that have enhanced our mission. Former Graco CEO David Koch and his wife Barbara Koch were long-time supporters of Opportunity Partners and Barbara also served on our Board of Directors. Our Koch Campus in Minnetonka was named in their honor.

Choice - Service Design

We are piloting a number of new initiatives as part of our Service Design efforts. At our Karlins Center in Plymouth, where we serve about 50 people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other disabilities, we have adopted a new service model where service coordinators are supporting smaller groups of people and providing more direct care. Karlins staff are already seeing successes! Small groups have been able to enjoy more community activities, building participation and engagement. Individuals at Karlins continue to experience employment success with five individuals now working competitive, integrated jobs - the most in the history of that program. Karlins also recently began volunteering at Arc Value Village twice per week. Watch for more updates to come!
