Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered at the FunD lunch last week! We owe a special thank you to our frozen food partners who donated all of the food for this lunch. Thanks to everyone's generous support we were able to raise $311.00, which will be used to support staff throughout the year.

The next food giveaway will be taking place on Wednesday, March 1, in the MHC parking lot.

Join the USS Silversides in honoring Black History Month with a presentation by Hope College History Professor Dr. Fred Johnson III.

His presentation “African Americans Who Protected Democracy” spotlights African Americans who have impacted the world and the way we live since WWII through the present day. We recognize them, we see them, we honor them. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch and stay for an open discussion with Dr. Johnson following the presentation.

The connections we make, the type of content we consume, and the frequency with which we access it can impact our mental health in both positive and negative ways. HealthWest presents a community training to learn the latest research on how social media impacts our brains and how to stay mentally and emotionally healthy in a media-driven society.
