Over 450 runners took part in the Mattioli Woods Rothley 10k, which is one of the most celebrated charity road races in Leicestershire.
We would personally like to thank you for taking part and supporting a range of local causes including: Rainbows, LOROS, County Air Ambulance Service, Age UK, Eye Camps and RNLI.
Last year saw donations of over �15,000 from runners and supporters, and hopes are high to match this figure over the coming weeks.
Stuart Spencer from Barrow Runners was the overall winner with a time of 33.07 minutes and his club won both the male and female affiliated team categories.
Mia Weston from Hermitage Harriers won the female veteran category in 45.37 and Spencer Newport from Barrow Runners came first in the male veteran category in 34.52 minutes.
The race also included junior categories, where Josh Gilbert-Weavers from Charnwood AC won for the boys in 35.08 minutes and Megan Holland came top in the female junior category in 48.52.
The Woodies won the female team category, with Pole Arnold bringing it home for the men.
