Serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
Galatians 5:13b & 14
Service, humility, love. Qualities that I see in each and every person who give of their time on Sunday mornings welcoming all who come through our doors and making certain everything runs smoothly behind the scenes of our worship services. Those friendly faces would be sorely missed if they were not there each week.
The last year has brought many challenges, not the least of which was having enough people to step into our Sunday morning volunteer positions during a pandemic. We adapted to accommodate safety protocols while meeting the needs of our congregation. A small group of very dedicated people came together to serve this congregation over the past several months till our serve teams were able to resume their schedules. I offer my profound thanks to these individuals for coming in week after week, often without being asked. Thank you for your love and care of your neighbors in worship.
I am also thrilled that we are currently in the process of adding to our number as we begin the process of bringing back our serve teams. It has been so wonderful to see familiar faces coming back to serve as more people are vaccinated and safety protocols are relaxed. Easter Sunday saw the return of our golf cart ministry and we're looking forward to more ministry areas coming back very soon.
We are always looking for people to join our serve teams. Any interested in serving as an usher, greeter or golf cart driver on Sunday mornings or during the week as a member of the Pew Crew can contact me at email@example.com.
Join us as we serve one another.
