For the  parents and families of St. Therese Chinese Catholic School

Dear Parents,

Thank you to all of our families and friends who joined us last weekend for our Annual CNY Benefit. It was so great to see so many enjoying this special night. We were treated to wonderful student performances and paid tribute to Fr. Li! I am also pleased to share that overall, the event was a great financial success!

Thank you also to the many parents who worked so hard to make CNY a success - whether it was securing Silent Auction donations, setting up for the event, soliciting donations, or helping bring everything back to the school late on Saturday night - we could not have done this without you! As a token of our appreciation, children of our CNY parent volunteers will enjoy a FREE DRESS DOWN DAY on March 11th.

We are still working on putting together the final numbers, including the event expenses, but I am excited to share that we have raised over $100,000!

As part of the event, we raised $13,289 for the Faculty Follies, meaning that together we have earned ALL levels of  Faculty Follies Fun, as well as a DAY OFF OF SCHOOL! Please mark your calendars for NO SCHOOL on Friday, May 10th.

We have raised over half the funds needed to establish a SECOND Learning Lab!  If you were unable to donate at CNY, we are still taking donations toward the new Learning Lab. You may do so using this secure online page or by sending a check to the school office.

I remain so grateful for your incredible support of our students and school. I hope you have a blessed beginning to the Lenten season.

Best,
Ms. Lisa Deborah Oi
Principal

KATHY LAI, 2009 ALUMNA, SHARES HER ST. THERESE STORY AT CNY

We were honored to welcome back Katherine Lai, a 2009 graduate of St. Therese, to share her reflections on how her years at St. Therese have shaped her future. Miss Lai noted how much St. Therese has changed, as well as how her future aspirations were influenced by the many teachers here, many of whom remain with us today!
