Above are three of thousands of people Tennessee Health Care Campaign staff and volunteers have had the pleasure to know and assist this year.
Chase (left) just turned 17.
His mom came to us in January because he was abruptly denied payment for essential medical supplies. We worked with TennCare administrators until they resolved his issue.
Antacara (center) is a single mom who works 35 hours a week
. She is one of the many people our volunteers help at Lentz Public Health Department in Nashville weekly. Thanks to THCC volunteers, she and her children enrolled in TennCare.
Mike (right) moved from Arkansas to Tennessee to find work.
He got to Tennessee and realized he may lose his healthcare. It took a volunteer driving an hour to pick Mike up and transporting him to the Social Security office to update his address, but thankfully we were able to help him get covered.
