Making Moves Matter Welcomes Terrell!

Shelter graduate,Terrell, and her children began a new chapter in their lives this month! After a difficult struggle with homelessness, they have happily settled into a stable life of independence in a
special place called home.

While Terrell was at her job and her children were in school, Family Promise's volunteer group, Making Moves Matter, jumped in and created a warm, welcoming, beautiful home for the family.

Led by head volunteer, Michele Caruso, this group of volunteers joyfully takes charge of helping graduates get settled by moving furniture into the home, stocking the fridge, decorating, and adding finishing touches all around. To date, Making Moves Matter has completed 34 moves!

There were smiles abound when Terrell and her children arrived home for the
first time!
A special thank-you and recognition to the Montville High School wood shop class for making custom bunk beds for Terrell's children!
