As we pass the mid-point of the year, I want to thank our members for all they have done and are doing during these challenging times. Throughout the last few months, members have changed their production lines and schedules to meet the demand for much needed supplies. Others have provided the care necessary for people who became ill, while still others have switched up or altered plans and schedules to carry on in a different, ever-changing, environment. We appreciate all of you and admire your vision, drive and ability to navigate these choppy waters.
For our part, the State Chamber team will continue to host webinars, calls, and virtual meetings that focus on our present health care and economic challenges. These headwinds are testing all of us and the need for first-hand, primary source information is critical as you make important and necessary decisions.
On July 21st we will host a virtual conference that will address:
- The current state of manufacturing
- How our state compares to surrounding states and identify areas we need to improve
- How offices may need to be physically modified to offer greater safety for employees and customers, and more.
