Congratulations to our Class of '25 Seniors: Max Berbeco (not pictured), Kristen Chun, Max Klumb, Paul Lee, Theo Maslan, Liz Perez-Sanchez, Scarlett Perez-Sanchez, Kayla Phan, Neva Vuletic and Svetislav Vuletic.

Thank you for supporting your fellow CRLS students through your roles as CSV peer tutors. We wish you the best of luck in your journey ahead!

Thank you to all of our Learning Center tutors at Amigos, CSUS, PAUS, RAUC & VLUS. This year we served a total of 34 students across all five centers. We placed a total of 33 tutors, three of them having a second placement, and a few tutors working with more than one student at times. You can now submit an application to be a tutor for the 2025-2026 school year!

The Art & Science in One Program wrapped up with it's last session on June 13. For the past five Fridays, the fourth- and fifth-graders at Tobin Montessori enjoyed observing nature in a calm and mindful state and noting and sketching what was seen with their AS1 mentor.

Thank you to our KeyPals Program volunteers at MIT & Draper for another wonderful year mentoring fifth-graders at the Kennedy-Longfellow School. For over three decades, the program has fostered positive mentor relationships with K-Lo students. We are grateful to the Kennedy-Longfellow School for it's commitment and dedication to the KeyPals Program.

Starting next school year, the KeyPals Program will be taking place at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School, located at 102 Putnam Avenue. We are thrilled to be able to continue to have fifth-grade students in the CPS school district mentored by our corporate and university partners.

We are so excited to welcome our new NetPals partner for the 2025-2026 school year, Wyss Institute at Harvard University! Wyss Institute NetPals will mentor scholars at the Cambridge Street Upper School.

Do you work at or know of a company or university that would like to partner with CSV's NetPals or KeyPals Program? We would love to hear from you!

We are excited to announce that in addition to the first- and second-grade classes, the Reading Buddies program will now be offered to the Kindergarteners at Fletcher Maynard Academy!

Last Friday, Ellie Lawson's fifth-grade Art class at Fletcher Maynard Academy unveiled a large collaborative mural they designed and painted with themes of Unity, Inclusion and Community Pride. Whitney Van Praagh, a talented artist and CSV volunteer, dedicated her time and creative genius to make this breathtaking twelve-panel mural come to life! The mural will be displayed on Broadway in front of Fletcher Maynard Academy.

The volunteer application for the 2025-2026 school year is now live. If you are a current volunteer, we would love to have you back. Do you know anyone that would like to volunteer in any of our programs? Spread the word! In September, we will reach out to all new and returning volunteers that have submitted an application.

Reminder: CSV will be at the Cambridge Arts River Festival this Saturday! Come out and enjoy the showcase of food, arts, crafts, immersive art experiences and multiple stages of live music, dance, poetry and theater. Stop by our booth, say hi, and check out all of our volunteer opportunities for the next school year!

Support CSV by running in the Cambridge Half Marathon on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Runners can be charity runners for CSV and have their registration fee covered. It costs $100 to register now, but the price will increase after June 30. Last year, the race sold out, so register soon.

Aren't able to run but would still like to support CSV and our runners?
