We are grateful that the situation in Colleyville was resolved and that Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker and the other hostages from Congregation Beth Israel were safely reunited with their families.
Watching the coverage of the situation yesterday we all felt like one family. Let’s not let that feeling fade. Let’s reach out to others and build bridges of friendship, understanding and peace. Let’s take this opportunity to call out and stand up against antisemitism and prejudice. Let’s emulate Rabbi Charlie who is a consummate bridge builder.
We thank the many law enforcement personnel and those behind the scenes that brought this situation to a close.
