Greetings!

As 2025 comes to a close, one thing is especially clear: this community’s commitment to ensuring our neighbors have enough to eat is as strong as ever. Thank you for all the ways you have shown up this year — by giving, volunteering, advocating, and keeping food security at the heart of your end-of-year reflections. All of us at Manna hope you are having a safe, peaceful, and restorative holiday season as we look ahead together to a more food secure Montgomery County.

Because of your generosity, Manna continues to provide healthy food and wraparound support to thousands of neighbors across Montgomery County each month.

As the year closes, a year-end donation to Manna will help ensure our shelves are stocked and our trucks are fueled for the busy winter months ahead. If you are able, please consider making a tax-deductible gift today so that children, seniors, and working families can start 2026 nourished and hopeful.

With deep gratitude for all you have made possible in 2025 and all we will accomplish together in the new year,

Craig Rice

CEO, Manna Food Center

Holiday Closure & Inclement Weather Policy

Manna will be closed Thursday, January 1st for New Years Day.

With winter comes the chance of inclement weather closings. Manna follows the Montgomery County Government decisions around weather-based delays and closures – which will also be posted on our website and social media!

MLK Jr. Day Event

Join us at Manna Food Center's annual MLK Jr. Day event to recenter today’s food justice struggles in relation to Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy. This collaborative event will bring together community members, organizations, and local businesses that are critical parts of our food system to discuss pathways towards a more food secure and more just Montgomery County.

We will ground ourselves in Martin Luther King Jr.'s life and legacy during our opening session and move through the intersectional roundtable discussions within justice-driven action in mind.

The roundtable themes are:

· Farm and Food Forward

· Im/migration Intersections in Food Justice

· Food Systems and Employment: Growing Opportunities

· Cultural Food Identity and Storytelling
