Vegan S'Mac Down

From creamy cashew to silky butternut squash, the 2nd Annual Lehigh Valley Vegan s’Mac Down will feature a variety of vegan “mac and cheeze” recipes from restaurants throughout the region. After sampling each delectable dish, attendees will vote for their favorites. The s’Mac Down Champion will be awarded with a custom-blown trophy from the ArtsQuest Glass Studio at the Banana Factory.

Gingerbread Bridges and Skyscrapers Challenge

It’s that time of year again! The National Museum of Industrial History is excited to again host its popular Gingerbread Bridges and Skyscrapers Challenge. Last year saw everything from recreations of Tony Stark’s Stark Tower from the Iron Man movies to portrayals of Allentown’s 8th Street Bridge and a six foot high version of the Empire State Building!
Get into the holiday spirit and exercise your creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking skills as you design your tasty constructions. All entries will be displayed in the museum from November 23rd through December 30th. Each age category will have two winners (Best Design and Most Creative) and each will receive an exciting prize!

This session includes a special handprint plate with Santa, signed by the big guy himself! There will be storytime and carol singing with Santa in the Color Me Mine "living room" and a hot cocoa bar with toppings and cookies. Plenty of time will be had for Santa to greet and take photos with each child, and there will be fun surprises. Let it snow!
