A Message from the PACP President
|
We are so Thankful!
Our extended intermission was a blessing! It gave us the time we always wanted to catch our breath and get reacquainted with our theater and all the treasures it contains.
We're thankful for a slew of amazing volunteers. You have infused energy & vibrancy into what was complacency! You brought innovation and passion and raised the bar! You have reignited creativity and continue to reimagine what theater can be.
We're thankful for our audience, who didn't leave us. Instead you showed us how much you crave live performance and reminded us just how relevant the arts are, especially now, by lifting us up when we needed it most. You have no idea how much we missed you.
We're thankful to be open and making magic again. It's possible because this amazing community supported us. Your contributions big and small, sponsorships, donations and grants, have kept us viable.
Thank YOU!
Barb Frederick, President, Port Angeles Community Players

December 3, 2021 - December 19, 2021
For the upcoming holiday main stage production of "Miss Bennet - Christmas at Pemberley", all the stops have been pulled out to create an immersive, elegant late Georgian era experience.
This is not a stuffy period drama - this is a story for now and we look forward to this production, rich in character, intrigue, drama and love. "Miss Bennet" is an energetic, witty, and romantic holiday comedy about family, awkward love, and personal transformation that will delight and enchant Jane Austen aficionados and newcomers alike.
Join us, won't you? Partake of a glass of hot holiday punch, settle into your chair and rediscover the rich world of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice as these familiar characters continue on in a new adventure.
Important note – As with attending performances at the Playhouse you MUST PRESENT PROOF OF VACCINATION TO BE ADMITTED. VACCINATION STATUS WILL BE CHECKED. Masks must be worn inside the Playhouse.

What's involved with Stage Lighting?
|
|
The equipment used for stage lighting (e.g. cabling, dimmers, lighting instruments, controllers) are also used in other lighting applications, including corporate events, concerts, trade shows, broadcast television, film production, photographic studios, and other types of live events. The personnel needed to install, operate, and control the equipment also cross over into these different areas of "stage lighting" applications. -Wikipedia-
