Thank you for voting ABR Employment Services the Best Staffing Agency in Wisconsin for the 8th year in a row!  Last fall, a company named Inavero sent employees that work for ABR and other North American staffing agencies a survey. That survey measured how satisfied employees are with the service they received and how likely they were to recommend that agency as an employer to a friend or family member.  The results are in! Out of all the employment agencies in Wisconsin, we were ranked #1 for the 8th year in a row!

Melanie Guski  is the lucky recipient of Apple TV, our February ABR 'Throwback 30'  prize! Melanie, pictured center, with ABR Stevens Point Staffing Specialist Tama Niemi (left) and Senior Branch Manager Lisa Sobczak (right), is a multi-talented employee in a dual role (payroll clerk, custodian) at James Burns & Sons Farm in Almond, WI. 




Robert  Buda won a wireless bluetooth speaker in our January drawing. Robert first began working for ABR in 2009! He enjoys working as a golf caddy during Wisconsin's warm months and partners with ABR Employment Services - Manitowoc, WI to connect him with winter employment. What a nice addition the speaker will make to his golf cart.  Kristin Kracaw  (left, end), Terri Boerger (left of Robert) and  Tasha Karstaedt  (right of Robert) agree! Robert is currently working at Manitowoc Ice, a division of Welbilt.
Benefits Open Enrollment - Still Time to Enroll

Open enrollment for Fixed Indemnity Plans and MEC Wellness/Preventive Plan continues through February 28, 2018.

  • During open enrollment, ABR employees currently working full-time on a job assignment can enroll in our benefits without a qualifying life event. If you are currently enrolled and need to make changes, you can do that during the same open enrollment period in February.
  • February will also be open enrollment time for our Minimal Value Health Insurance   plan, also called the "Bronze"  plan. That information will be mailed to eligible employee's homes by our health insurance vendor, Essential Staff Care, in early February.  
  • For changes to your current plan (and to ask questions), call 1-866-798-0803 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST.

In Recognition for Outstanding Job Performance 

Congratulations to our employees of the quarter, Lance Masshardt (pictured, ABR Stevens Point), Julie Tiber (ABR Sparta) and Kassie (ABR Manitowoc). 

Each quarter, ABR offices recognize employees that meet the criteria for outstanding job performance with a certificate and a $50 bonus. 


Lance recently finished a job assignment as an installer at Emmons Business Interiors. He also worked in assembly at JHL Digital Direct and food service at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Lance is going back to college to pursue his degree and we wish him the best!

Direct hire jobs are full-time positions with benefits. ABR  is involved during the recruitment and hiring  process. But after a job offer is accepted, the job candidate goes directly on the client's payroll and is their employee (not an employee of ABR).
