We're excited to try these super easy (and trendy) watermelon "fries" - they would look terrific on a thrifted glass platter for summer entertaining.

Cut watermelon into thin, snackable slices, or use a crinkle cutter for added texture. Marshmallow fluff blended with cream cheese makes a delicious dipping sauce. Spice up your "fries" with a squeeze of lime and a dash of cayenne.

FIND OF THE WEEK - ART FOR THE MADISONIAN

"Pubs of Madison" Colorful Print Signed by Artist Brian McKelvey

In 2007 as an inside joke between friends and family, Brian McKelvey created a scene incorporating only pubs to represent a town. Patrons from all over the Midwest began to visit his gallery, bringing their own vision of college towns to his door while making it official that McKelvey was going to tackle the β€œBig Ten Pubs.”

McKelvey hit the road visiting countless college towns and blazed a trail across the country from Seattle to Miami to New York, embracing the idea that a college town can be artfully captured by it’s memories made in pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, and local dives. We think McKelvey was onto something, and here's your chance to own a signed and framed print of his take on Madison.
