2021 Graduation a Successful Celebration

Please pray for our 40 new alums!

Check out Harold's big day here!

Harold Sears:
100 years young
When former student Harold Sears of Topeka turned 100 years old on May 29, the former Naval World War II pilot and his family were honored with a parade by several military veteran organizations.

Harold and his wife Phyllis (Moomaw '48) have been married nearly 73 years and have lived throughout parts of the Midwest and Arizona, working in different business ventures and helping churches like Broadway Christian Church in Mesa, AZ and Capitol City Christian Church in Lincoln, NE get on their feet and thrive in their early days of existence.

Harold's philosophy? Love the Lord, take your vitamins, and listen to your body.

Wise advice, Harold, wise advice!
Rick Wright '76
There are many ways to describe Alum, VP for Student Life, and Coach Dr. Rick Wright.
Now, we can add Inductee to the National Christian College Athletic Association Hall of Fame to that list!
Rick received his award Thursday, June 3 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Pictured with Rick are fellow alums AD/Head Men's Basketball Coach Jordan Strom '11, and President Kevin Ingram '86.

Rick has served at MCC for over 30 years, and has a successful soccer coaching career. He and wife Marta (fs) have faithfully loved on hundreds of students and players during their time in Manhattan.

When Ron was asked what he will miss most about being at MCC, he replied,
"Wow. Students first and foremost. They're the reason I wanted to work here. I will also miss the faculty and staff. Everyone has been so very kind to me over the years. This has been the best job I've ever had and it has been a privilege to be a part of MCC!"
Ron Ratliff Retires
Librarian Extraordinaire
Since 2006, Alum Ron Ratliff '79 has been caring for students and making learning something special.

Ron began as the Reference Librarian, and became the Dir. of Library Services in 2019.

Ron also was an adjunct professor, teaching courses like Philosophical Problems and Public Speaking. He also taught the course "The Literature of CS Lewis" and was our resident Lewis expert.

Ron retires on June 30. Please pray for Ron in his next life adventure. Feel free to contact him with your appreciation at!
Exciting Opportunity!
In April, Pres. Ingram announced that MCC had been offered the opportunity to purchase the Anderson Village property directly west of MCC's campus beside Coffin Memorial Hall.

MCC has intent to purchase this property. Please join us in praying for God's favor and provision to acquire this building. MCC will greatly benefit, as we can renovate the 2nd floor apartments to be the men's residence hall and leave the 1st floor as revenue generating retail space.
