Dear Valued Patients and Friends,
We are now six months into the COVID-19 pandemic and while the world has changed, and we’ve needed to change with it, we want to assure you our commitment to you is as strong as ever! We have been working diligently to meet your needs, all the while keeping you safe. Your support means a lot to us and we appreciate all the kind words you’ve been willing to share.
This is an ever-changing time. Your willingness to stay informed and “roll with the punches” has been amazing! Here are the latest
NEED TO KNOW
bits of information from us:
- We still need you to wait in your car until we come and get you for your appointment. Please text us at 651-482-8412. If you have opted out of texts from us, we can receive your texts, but we cannot respond back to you. If you’d like to opt back into texts, Alex can help you with that.
- Rainy days are hard for us too. On rainy days, we will likely ask you to meet us under the awning of the building when we are ready for you.
- Please don’t come inside without our guidance. We need to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing. If you come when we aren’t ready for you, we jeopardize this practice.
- We are doing the very best we can. It has been difficult to reopen. It has been difficult to meet the needs and demands. We have a high volume of patients needing to be seen and who have been putting off treatment due to COVID. This can mean that the exams may run long and we may not be able to start your appointment on time as we would like. We will unlikely be ready for you early. We can’t thank you enough for your patience in advance.
- In that same vein, if you are having other issues you would like to discuss during your hygiene appointment, we can be better prepared to help you if we know in advance.
- We have a lot of you interested in what we are doing to keep you safe during the pandemic. We continue to encourage you to visit the COVID-19 section of our website. We have an abundance of information there.
- Another way we are currently working to keep you more safe is that we have established alternating exam and treatment days for the doctors. This means you may have the opportunity to meet Dr. Elizabeth or Dr. Jeff if you haven’t had the chance before.
- We wish we could offer our normal amenities like cable TV, neck wraps, blankets, the restroom, water, and coffee, but due to the pandemic, these are currently unavailable. Thank you for your understanding. We encourage you to bring a book or your own music device to your longer appointments.
- Keeping everyone safe means asking the COVID screening questions more than once. We not only need confirmation that you have been symptom free as we schedule your appointment, but we will need to have you sign the form stating you are symptom free when you arrive.
- We are implementing eForms to make the COVID screening questions easier to access and to allow us less time on the phone asking the screening questions, which means we have more time to be available to answer the phone when you call.
- eForms will be our future. Just like we are starting to see at doctors’ offices, we also want to be a part of the eChart revolution. You will receive an email (it should come from CSDentalMailSender@csdental.com) from us with the forms we need you to fill out before your appointment. You will have to create an account the first time. The system will ask you security questions (usually a phone number, a portion of your SSN, your birthdate) to establish the account. You will have to create a user name and password. Please remember these for the future. It is very important that we have an updated email address for you.
