Thanks for visiting us at APCO
It was great to see so many customers and end users at this year’s show. As we walked around the tradeshow floor and talked to various attendees, the terms integration and partnership kept entering the conversations.

We live in a connected world. That’s especially the case in dispatch centers, where radio systems and dispatch systems along with CAD, GIS, recording, records management, mass notification, security systems and other solutions – all of which are becoming more and more interwoven with each other.

Telex Radio Dispatch continues to forge partnerships with other solutions providers in order to provide a robust system solution for each customer’s unique situation. With our suite of APIs now available, we can work with other providers to help you formulate a dispatch solution that works for you.
Recording options for dispatch systems
Dispatchers often have to manage a lot of tasks and information very quickly. Making reliable recordings to help “remember” part of that information flow – and also for potential legal purposes – is of paramount importance to many dispatch operations.

C-Soft gives dispatchers the ability to track the last ten minutes of both selected and unselected speaker audio via our Instant Recall Recorder, which is standard within the software. In addition, our Per-Line Call Playback option can expand capabilities by recording up to 100 lines of audio for one hour. Starting with C-Soft v7, one line of this option is included for free.

But what if you need more robust recordings, or perhaps for legal reasons you need recordings to be time stamped, or even synched and paired with other recordings? That’s where our recording partners come into play. Telex proactively works with various recording hardware and software vendors to ensure that they have our latest technical information, tools, resources and access to our technical experts, all of which work together to optimize their platforms for recording Telex Radio Dispatch system data.

Recording systems are a lot like cars. There are many features, options and other factors that go into buying one. We periodically publish a list of contact information for all of our recording partners for our customers to use when researching recording options that are Telex Radio Dispatch capable.
